THE CAR AS IT LEFT THE FACTORY

Which extras were actually fitted?

A trim badge does not tell the whole equipment story. A build record can help identify original specification, while a demonstration and inspection explain what is fitted and working today.

Our paid factory build-sheet connection is being prepared. It is not available to order. Supported fields, makes and pricing are not confirmed yet.

What a manufacturer build record may contain

Depending on the source and vehicle, a build sheet may include original equipment descriptions or codes, paint information, interior trim and drivetrain details. We will show confirmed fields for the actual product before taking orders, rather than promising the same level of detail for every make.

Original, standard, optional or fitted later?

Separate what was standard for the exact derivative from optional factory equipment and later additions. A brochure, an advert and the current car may describe different things. Where a feature matters to your decision, confirm it on the actual vehicle.

Useful for owners and the motor trade

Owners can use reliable specification evidence to understand their car. Dealers can use it to support accurate descriptions and identify questions before advertising. A factory record does not establish the present working condition of an option, and it does not independently authenticate a later modification.

A build sheet is not a service report

Original specification does not tell you when the oil was changed. Maintenance records do not prove every option was fitted at the factory. Our proposed combined pack keeps these sources together without treating them as interchangeable.
