Where Audi owners can start
Audi directs service-history requests to its Centres, which can access the digital record. Information about an upcoming service may also be available through vehicle or owner-app features, depending on the car. Ask specifically for completed maintenance evidence when that is what you need.
A Centre may need to establish that you are entitled to receive the information. Avoid forwarding a previous owner’s personal details unnecessarily, and keep access to owner accounts separate from documents that legitimately form part of the vehicle handover.
Make the work descriptions useful
Ask what each entry records: routine maintenance, an inspection, repair work or another visit. Additional jobs may need their own supporting invoice. Compare the record with the appropriate schedule for the exact engine and year, rather than a generic interval for every Audi.
For an independent workshop service, retain the invoice and ask how the work was recorded. Do not assume all independent work is either absent from every digital system or automatically included. What was recorded matters.

- Identify the vehicle from registration and VIN before comparing records.
- Ask an Audi Centre about the completed digital service record.
- Keep itemised invoices alongside any service summary.
- Read the MOT timeline and investigate discrepancies without jumping to conclusions.
