Manufacturer service-history reports and factory build sheets are being prepared. They are not currently available to purchase. A make or model guide does not confirm data coverage for that vehicle.
Connect the digital summary with the actual invoices
Use the available Toyota history as an index to the dated work. Where a short entry does not explain the scope, ask for the invoice or workshop confirmation. Include any independent servicing that is supported by separate documents.
A longer ownership period may span more than one workshop. Organise the documents by date so that duplicated copies do not look like additional services.
Ask what happened after the latest record
Compare the latest recorded service mileage with later MOT readings and the current odometer shown at viewing. That difference is distance since a historical reading, not a live mileage feed.
If advertised equipment or a hybrid inspection matters to your decision, check it separately. A service-history entry cannot establish that every advertised feature is present or working.
Three questions to take to the seller or workshop
- Do the invoices match the body style and powertrain being sold?
- Are duplicate documents being counted as separate services?
- What evidence covers the period after the latest recorded service?
Your next step
Read the Toyota record-source guide, or save your car in My Garage to organise evidence you already hold. A paid digital-record search cannot currently be ordered on FMSH; this guide is not confirmation of manufacturer coverage.
